Code of Conduct
Escortpedia seeks constructive participation from people with different backgrounds, experiences and views about the adult-services sector. This code applies to submissions, correspondence and participation in any community features made available by Escortpedia.
Be respectful
Critique ideas and evidence rather than attacking people. Harassment, bullying, discriminatory abuse, stalking, intimidation, sexual harassment and threats are not acceptable. Disagreement about terminology, policy or research should remain civil and relevant.
Respect privacy and consent
Do not disclose someone's private identity, location, phone number, client information, intimate images, correspondence or other sensitive details without an appropriate lawful basis and clear editorial relevance. Do not pressure anyone to reveal their occupation, legal name or personal history.
Contribute honestly
Do not fabricate sources, claim experiences you did not have, alter quotations deceptively, impersonate experts or coordinate deceptive promotional submissions. Declare any financial or personal interest in an article or placement request. Do not present paid advocacy as independent research.
Protect vulnerable people
Content involving minors, coercion, trafficking, exploitation or sexual violence requires particular sensitivity. Do not upload exploitative material, identify victims unnecessarily or use the website to arrange unlawful acts. A concern involving immediate danger should be reported to the appropriate emergency or safeguarding authority rather than relying on website moderation.
Avoid spam and manipulation
Mass-produced low-value submissions, repeated unsolicited links, malicious files, automated disruption, evasion of account restrictions and attempts to pressure editors are prohibited.
Reporting and outcomes
Report concerns to hi@escortpedia.org, including the relevant URL or correspondence. Please share only information needed to investigate. Depending on the circumstances, we may decline content, remove material, restrict accounts, preserve relevant records or make reports where required by law. Actions should be proportionate to the seriousness and evidence available.
