Accessibility

Escortpedia aims to make its reference articles useful to as many readers as possible, including people who use assistive technology, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or alternative input methods.

What we aim to provide

Our content standards favour descriptive headings, understandable link text, clear language, sensible reading order and meaningful alternatives for informative images. We aim to avoid using colour alone to convey meaning and to make essential actions usable without a mouse.

Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. A published page may still contain an issue, particularly when it includes third-party content or newly introduced functionality. We do not claim a specific conformance level without completed testing.

If something is inaccessible

Please email hi@escortpedia.org with the page URL, a brief description of the obstacle and, if you are comfortable sharing it, the device, browser or assistive technology involved. You do not need to disclose a disability or other sensitive information to report a problem.

We will consider reasonable ways to provide information in an alternative form or to correct an identified barrier, taking the nature of the request and available technical options into account.

Feedback helps improve the site

Examples of useful reports include missing image descriptions, inaccessible forms, keyboard traps, unreadable contrast, confusing headings, video without necessary alternatives or controls that are difficult to operate.
