Trick is a historical, colloquial slang term for a Client who purchases sexual services. While the term is deeply embedded in pop culture and the history of Sex Work, its usage today is largely confined to Street-Based Sex Work. A modern Independent Escort or High-End Escort generally rejects the term, viewing it as derogatory and heavily preferring business-oriented terms like client, guest, or Regular.
